Alvin and Steve were both very accommodating and knowledgeable about what was needed to get me back on the road. Needless to say they had my truck back on the road that same day after I had been waiting for three days without a vehicle and pep boys had no idea what the issue was and all I needed was a new battery…
jerome dais,I brought in my 2021 Nissan Rouge on Saturday 10/17/2026 for front and rear brakes.Waterbury Ct shop failed to complete repairs as Tech put it into service mode and could not get it out. On Monday 10/19/26 went to Waterbury CT store at 8:00 am and told they were taking it to Nissan so the dealer could take it out of service mode.i was told Mieneke would let me know when it got to dealer. At 1:30 I had not heard anything so I went to Mieneke to see what was being done. Service advisor stated that they had done everything he was told to do and owner had to authorize the tow and service. Service Advisor stated he spoke with dealer and they would clear service mode if vehicle was there by 3:00 pm and I was assured my Rouge would be picked up by 1:45 and he at the dealer before 3:00. I received a notice from Nissan that a toe alert occurred at 2:55 pm. It did not make it to Nissan until after 3:30 so repair could not be done until Tuesday 10/20/26 I went to Nissan Dealer on 10/20/26 and verified repair was completed at 8:30 am. Nissan contacted Meineke Waterbury and notified them. Nissan had to wait to receive payment. I verified with Nissan they received payment and was told tow truck would be sent. I went to Meineke and verified with Service Advisor that he contacted tow company and my vehicle was on the way. I went to Meineke at 11:00 am to retrieve my vehicle but it was not there. Service Advisor told me it was on way I had him call tow company and they did not dispatch anyone because Service Advisor had not told them to get vehicle. I contacted Nissan and asked to be notified when my vehicle was picked up.Nissan called me at 11:15 and told me vehicle was picked up. My vehicle arrived at Meineke at 11:30 and Service Advisor just handed me my keys and walked away. I would advise anyone thinking of have work done in Waterbury or any other Meineke to run don’t walk away. I contacted Meineke customer complain department and they took a preliminary report and I was told a service rep would contacted me I 2 to 3 days this company does not stand behind customer service
