I train customer service representatives, so I have learned to know the difference between good and not so good service. Today, what I thought was just an exhaust pipe broke on my vehicle on the way home. I drove straight to Meineke to get it replaced. It was 5:30 as I walked into the shop and they were shutting down for the evening. After some brief begging on my part, D.W. Simms stated that he would look at it and see if he had the parts to replace it, thinking that it would be a quick job.
Well, he did get it on the lift and found out that the whole system needed to be replaced. After some thought on his part, Mr. Simms decided to do the job and replace the system. Two hours later, it was finally done. I thanked him again for staying two hours late to get the job done. He stated that if it was anything else, he probably wouldn't have done it but he loved working on exhaust systems! He did an excellent job and showed me World Class customer service to boot! Come to find out, it was his youngest son's birthday! His dedication is something to be recognized. He asked me if I was coming back. I replied that if anything goes wrong on any part of my car, I will come directly to him. I stated that he has gained a customer for life and me and my whole family will be his customer. I wanted to say thank you to D.W. and a job well done!!!!

I just wanted to thank Meineke of Howell for fantastic service. I stopped in yesterday on my way home from work with brake problems. They looked at my truck within minutes. The work was done right after that in a timely manner and at a fair price. The entire staff was friendly and professional. Thank you also to CSR John (don't know the last name) for being extremely helpful! Our family will definately be back to Meineke of Howell for future car repairs! I visited the location on Broadway in Tucson. The mechanic that worked on my car for an oil change was awesome! He explained areas that I needed to have fixed and overall what the cost would be. He did not talk over me and answered questions I had. I did not catch his name but his initials on my paperwork are DMB. I will refer all my friends to you guys! WAY BETTER THEN JIFFY LUBE!!! You did not pressure me into getting more then I could afford and on the receipt listed what I should get next time and cost! Thanks again for the awesome service!!!!!

"Jim" (I don't know his last name) took care of my daughter this morning by simply removing her locking gas cap. Sounds simple, however to a 20 year old who's on "Empty", it's not. And then there is her dad, me, who is 140 miles away in Cincinnati in the middle of a blizard pretty much snowbound. I felt so very helpless, probably because I was. Luckily Jim was able to get her very stubborn locking gas cap off when no-one else would or could. I am so grateful and thankful to Jim for taking the time to help my daughter Abby. Meineke should be proud!

Gotta tell you, as a ex-mechanic with certification from Germany and over 10 years experience, I take my hat off the the guys at meineke at the Deland location.I never thought I would find professional mechanics here in the States. When it comes to dealing with the customer and getting the job done professionaly, honest, clean, and at a very reasonable price these guys are right on.From the discussion and making the appointment on the phone I was treated with respect and courtesy. When telling Terry ,(the owner) what I wanted he explained the other options that were available and possibly more cost effective. Their mechanic "Gary" who installed a dual exhaust was friendly, proper, very proffesional when dealing with customers, and clean. I will pass this experience on to all of my friends, family and customers. I thought that you should know that I have changed my attitude towards large franchise automotive chains in the America. Meineke you have a real gold mine in the Deland, Florida store. Thank you for the hard to find real people who we can still trust.Once again hats off to the Deland store and their crew. Please pass this on so that others may benefit from my experience.

I had extensive work done: Rear brakes, rear struts and a front wheel bearing. I had intermittent unusual noises after the work was done, and went back several times to complain about it. Although my description was somewhat vague the people at this shop was unfailingly courteous, willing to help, and assured me that they wanted to find and correct the problem. Yesterday they indeed determined that the problem was that I needed new pins (I think) in the rear caliper. They fixed this at no extra charge. Of course, I've only driven the car about 25 miles since then, but the strange and troubling intermittent grinding and clanking sounds seem to have disappeared. I just wanted to commend this shop for it's fine customer service!

Twice now I have had work done on my vehicle at this shop. I must tell you that everyone at this facility is very professional, courteous and caring. My brakeline started leaking on my way home from work on Monday evening (12/26/2005 after 7pm). My son called this 'Care Center'first thing in the morning and the manager said to bring it up as soon as we could get it there. Called AAA and they towed it there. It was done in one hour. My worries were over. I very much appreciate all their hard work. A wonderful team there. It's not the first time I had work done there and it won't be the last. Thank you. PS I have a white car and there was not even one speck of dirt on it when they were done. Cudos!!

I had my van worked on today at store #1529. I went in not knowing just exactly what my problem was but knew something was wrong with my breaks. I first spoke with Paula who was very helpful in getting me in right away. Herby was the technician that inspected my vehicle. He then took me around the vehicle pointing out where my problems were and why. That is not typical of most repair shops. He explained the recommended repairs also letting me know if some of those repairs were repairs that could wait as money was and always is an issue. Howard then went the through the charges for all the work and made me very comfortable that I was paying for services that were actually needed on my vehicle. I had an awesome expreience today at store #1592. I will definitely be back for future repairs (although I hope no time soon). I will also be referring all my friends and customers to them as well! Thank you for making an otherwise dreaded situation bearable!

I've taken my car to Paul on and off for a few years. I brought my car in to have a pre-trip check up and oil change. I mentioned that the heated car seats hadn't worked for awhile, so they immediately checked them and found shorted wires that would have caused a fire if not taken care of.
My car is back in with Paul and Chris today,, getting the wires fixed. I have a very ill husband, so Paul loaned me his personal car to run errands and go home to check on my husband. He is and always has been kind and considerate of all customers, even when they are difficult, which I got to witness. These were two customers, unrelated to his slightly controversial sign, which, by the way got him several new customers and an equal number of "hoorays" as it did negative comments, just in the short time I was waiting for my car.
So, I say thank you to Paul, Chris, and Meineke for offering such great service!

I love these guys! I have been going to this Meineke since I moved here 9 years ago. They do great work, they're very thorough and friendly and I recommend them to everyone I know. They have had ample opportunity to take advantage of me and never have. They are the only auto shop I've been to in my life that I feel completely confident with their diagnosis of my vehicle.
